MICROSCOPES

Want to get ahead? If you already know how to use a microscope and want to brush up on it for a pretest Tuesday, study Lesson 2 p. 13-14 in your textbook.

Those who pass the pretest will begin using microscopes right away!

Be sure to know:

1. Each part of the microscope and its function.
2. Why the microscopes we use are called compound microscopes.
3. How to calculate the total magnification by multiplying the magnification of the eyepiece and of the objective lens.
