Go to Brain Pop and watch the movies about the Nervous System, Brain, and Neurons.

1. The nervous system is divided into two parts, central and peripheral. What does the central nervous system consist of in the human body? What does this compare to in the squid?
2. What does the peripheral system consist of in the human body? What does this compare to int he squid?
3. How is the squid an example of a simpler form (precursor) to the more complex nervous system of the human body?
